Apple has removed the traditional headset jack from their Iphone, and will do so from all future IOS devices..

Solution, a very expensive bluetooth headset..

Seems they have forgotten about the music world, currently very loyal to apple, because its so easy to connect an iphone or ipad to your device to stream music, and play along..

its a killer for many of us, because our devices dont support audio over Bluetooth or audio over USB they actually killed ipad integration in the music world..

I hope they will rethink this strategy and change their plans for the upcomming Ipads witouth headset plug...

It does come with an adaptor that allows you to still plug your headphones in, it just doesn't have a dedicated headphone jack, so you can still use it the same way

The charging dock has always had better DAC than the 1/8" jack, so the fidelity should be improved.
