now this is a beast of a Keyboard the only bummer we got to wait till it comes out .

It certainly is a beat of a keyboard for sure......I'd love to see what it can do in the hands of a player that would use it in a real world gigging ballroom dance, Latin dance, 50, 60, 70', 80's style as we play all the time,.....most of what I'm hearing so far has been creative expressive studio, soundtrack type of stuff...

Donny I think that is the Main market for the Montage the main customer base is not arrag players it techno and main stream , Studio and soundtrack but the good thing we can use it too and also do the other stuff .

it is gonna be a great performance unit

AWM 2 engine is ramped up and the use of the super knob with that I have seen very little post about but you can blend Piano and EP and pads ect to make unique sounds for stage it also has a little bit of the ensamble T5 section built in not exactly like it but great layering capabiltys

In my opinion all the other Forums are deserted, and this is a place where arranger players can discuss most things concerning Music... and even some concerning other things...

What use is it to spread our discussions thin over all those unused baords?

Ron are you getting one? would it be good in your shows on stage or?

Donny I am considering one for sure the more I see the more I like this unit the delema is what one 76 or 88 the keyboard is very heavy I will use the tyros 5 for most of my shows i am first lookng to trade up my T4 61 for T5 61 the sound it mush better

them maybe Montage it wont be out till may and demand will be high .
I am really liking what i hear esp for recording as well as live performance . 88 note is really nice but it will not travel well but will record great the cfx piano is really nice and mix in super knob it pretty great.

i am hopeful Yamaha will offer new Piano upgrade for T5 soon bosen and hopeful CFX

but this montage is a real cool unit for lot of new performance type of stuff and that really Interest me.
