Hi Folks

I like the sound of the Hammond Sk1 and Id like to have one. I

do play bass pedals and would like to do so with this organ.

Does anyone on the forum have videos or info on the sounds

available to the bass pedals manual and what they sound like.

Frank

I'm not positiive but I beleive you cas assign either a drawbar setting or one of your extra voices to the pedals. I think you can only assign one extra voice at a time. I played pedals with my XK3 using a drawbar sound as it had no extra voices.

Check this out.

Thanks Bill

As a matter of interest, what was your drawbar bass like, did it have sustain?
I would like a string bass from the extra voices but from the demos Ive heard only electric bass sounds

The PK5 pedals have a sustain function. It was continuous so I had to hit the cancel button as a song ended. Not the best setup but it worked. My Bk9 can't match the XK3 for organ sounds but offers a lot more in other sounds and programmability.
I'm surprised there's no Acoustic Bass in the SK3.

There is a pedal sustain feature on the Sk. The drawbars sound great with my PK5a pedals. The PK sustain is not optimal, use the keyboard feature. I haven't tried using an extra voice...
