Hello All,

I just thought of posting some views on the S950 3 months into it. Yesterday I played at a church with a crowd of about 100 people and I was surprised at the S950 holding up at full volume without jarring. The line pin went kaput and I had to rely on the onboard speakers and the S950 did not disappoint. The only thing I sorely miss on this board is the sound quality of my former S900. Any inputs as to how I can get even closer to that sound with EQ settings. I have been tweaking quite a bit already.
Enclosed a pic of me at the show yesterday.

Cheers

Sunny

Great photo!
You know, if the line out quits, you can plug a cable from the headphone output into your amplifier or p.a. I have used a cable with a stereo plug on one end, that splits into two cables for left and right sends.
It is a very hot signal, so be careful.

Hello Don

Thanks for the info. Actually the line out cable was kaput. The board line out works fine.

Thx

Oh, then I'll bet from now on you'll have extra cables with you!

Every musician should carry a "POSSIBILITY BAG" loaded with extra stuff just in case..

Had to use my backup bag Friday night. I had taken a USB cable to power my digital recorder out of my setup when rearranging. Also had left a stereo cable out of my Nano 300 p.a. bag. Ya never know!

Thanks a lot for all the inputs.
