My R&R cart is about 10 years old....not sure of the design on the new ones.
But...one day I noticed the scratches on the exterior of my keyboard cases. Couldn't figure out where they were coming from, until.......

I had a private detective from Pinkerton look into it and he discovered it was the R&R cart doing the damage.

The four "corners" (of the R&R cart) were bumping into the cases in the van and leaving scratch marks.

I was going to duct tape the "ends" but instead I bought "chair tips" at the Home Depot. They're round but they fit right over the metal end of the cart. The best part was they were only $1.77 for the 4 of them!

Mark, the newer carts come with plastic inserts in the ends of the box steel. Unfortunately, two of mine have been lost somewhere along the line and I have a couple scratches on the base of my Bose L1 Compact. I'll buff them out and you will never know they were there, though.

They will bite you!!!

And those end caps are poor design...one of these days I expect to see a giant scrape accross my hardwood floor..

They make a heavy duty front wheel assembly..that we had to switch to, after it collapsed because of a over loaded kart (Stu's)..I never had this problem..I had more sense..

Seeing a giant is bad enough...watching him scrape across your hardwood floor would be even more shocking.

(I couldn't resist)

Never had a scratch on my body from my rock and roller, even after a decade of hard use. You must be doing something wrong, Fran.
