I too am worried about Donny and Fran and the others. I think Gary Diamonds wife is still home and I'm concerned about her. I'm sure though that Gary has it all figured out.

Wed. about 2 PM. Just got back to Cape May. CM got REAL lucky as the whirlwind effect of the storm actually pusned the water away. I got some water in my garage studio so the carpets wet but I had everything up high so no big disaster.
Those North of the the center around Atlantic City all the way to Long Island got hammered big time as on that side of the eye the winds pushed everything inland. . I left CM sat. to do a job in Clark which is almost north Jersey. Came back Sat. night to the house we keep in Toms River. My wife came up from CM Sunday morning. Storm hit and we had no problem and we're just about 10 miles inland from the ocean there and the famous Seaside Boardwalk. Power blinked a few times but stayed on. Tues. I went back North to Woodbridge to check on my mother whos in a Seniors building. No power but they're doing OK. Came back to Tom's River and couldn't get any gas. This morning they cut our power off because of some suspected gas leaks. We piled into my wifes car and came back to CM. Not enough gas to get my Rogue and gig equipment back but we'll go back up in a few days when things calm down. We're much luckier than many who lost everything. Imagine your whole house and possesions gone in one night !! Many landmarks like the Seaside Boardwalk and lesser known Keansburg Boardwalk are gone.

That place witht the Blue Awning used to be a bar/nightclub and when I was in high school me and the guitar player in my band were in Seaside bumming around with hardly any money. Nothing new, we went there all the time to hang out. Saw a banner "Wayne Cochran and the CC Riders Tonight !!. Ran into some girls we knew and bummed some money to get in, underage and all. Couldn't afford a drink but got to see the "White James Brown". A show I'll never forget. Ahh memories !

After reading your other post about your troubles in Seaside I'm sorry to make light of the pictures of the Boardwalk but it brings back so many memories. Last visit there was June this year.
