Not a lot of styles I would find useful for my gigs but a really nice demo and the sounds on the BK5 seem to have some definition and clarity to them.

Thanks for sharing

Hi

You are right. This guy showed more of Eastern Europen styles and sounds and I play a lot of that music too,but I also play a lot of rock, pop songs from back home and also a lot of English(American) pop rock styles, and they are done pretty nice.Especially for under a grand it's got great styles.Plus bk5 will play all bk7m G70 and E80 styles.

I think, this demo featuring a vocalist, gives a better sense

as to how good this arranger would sound "out the field"

This one is longer and has been on youtube for some time.
Also it's in Spanish, but who cares.

Very nice. Much more relevant to what you need to work with in todays market. I'm assuming it was all "Styles" on the BK5 and not Mp3 backing tracks. The vocal processor sounded good too except for that lower octave thing she did- kind of weird.

Thanks

Yeah, it sounds nice. Anyone know what kind of vocal processor was used?

Biggest compliant I hear is that the buttons and OS in general are navagationally awkward during live play on stage...I'd really demo this personally before you buy one..

That's right DNJ.I don't know why Roland didn't include few more buttons. But the thing is you can get used to it very quickly. What they should do in Roland is make an APP for ipad that controls other things that are not on the keyboard.I think it would be very useful for all.Something like Mackie did with their new digital mixer DL1608.
