Hello everyone,
This is my first upload for 2012. A tune called "Caravansary" by Kitaro (a NewAge composer) played on Yamaha Tyros4. I hope you like. Happy New Year.

Hi Telmo
Well, what can I say ? You have done it again.

My wife and I were watching your performance and thinking what a refreshing change from the well beaten songs I play. OTOH, most of my clientel wouldn't appreciate it even if I could play it.

Well done and thanks for sharing again.

Bernie

You are 100% correct by saying that my friend. This genre(NewAge, Ambience,...) is only admired by a few, comparing to the whole. I myself surely couldn't make living in my Country playing this stuff. That's why I consider myself a hobbist. But I can play it in my church during meditation services. It helps people to relax and empty their minds from this hectic world.
Best regards and thanks you and your wife for taking the time to watch.
Telmo.

Hi Telmo.

Another beautiful Performance.
I esp love the sound of the Chinese Erhu, Cumbus China instrument,
and ethnic percusion instruments.
Nice custom style (Chill Caravans) too.

Thanks for sharing.

Scott cool

side note: I couldn't help noticing right off that the first notes of this Kitaro song
sounds so hauntingly similar to the verse of the classic Eagles hit:

Hotel California
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night

There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself,
This could be heaven or this could be hell
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...

Dnj, I do like some of Yanni's tune, specially those easy-listening piano ballads (One Man's Dream). I wish to perform some Yanni's tune on future. Best wishes, Telmo.
