Hi Scott,
These are not brand new. They were already available for the T2. I don't hear any revoicing for the T4.

Funky 70's : "Play that funky music".
I revoiced and reworked the Style for: "Brick House" and "Superstition".

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the heads up. I just checked my T4 HD and see that I've had all these same style titles in my T2 Yam premium style folder all along.
That said, these older prem styles still sound great on T4, and as you said, the Funky 70's works great for "Play That Funky Music".
Still would be nice to get some input from members on some suitable songs for the 'other styles' I provided audio samples to above. cool

Hi Scott,
you know what I think would be really useful, an actual
"demo style" that you could load into the keyboard.
Only 1 variation would do, just to try & see what songs it could work with, or do yammie actually give you song suggestions.

Although I've never done it, I thought you could test out new styles before buying using the internet direct connect feature.

Sorry for being grumpy, but I think it sucks that Yamaha music soft doesn't give you the opportunity to upgrade to a revoiced style when you move up from a lower model.

Let's say that I spent $500 on styles when I owned the T3, and then I moved up to the T4 or the future to the T5, and Yamaha revoiced many of those styles. It would be nice to be able to go to your history at Yamahamusicsoft.com, and then to be able to download the current version of the style for your new keyboard - either for free or for $1.95. Instead, they want you to spend another $8.95 or to just live with an old version of a style.
