Yesterday someone asked me to play this song. I searched on
Youtube for it and found this - doesn't get better than this.
The song starts about 1 minute into the video.

Hey Donny,
I could listen to that all day! Is that a current video? I know when I go to Europe they are very much into the big band and swing music. I have not been to Asia yet - but that is really super.

Deane I thinks it pretty current as it was posted on you tube in 2009..... I also love listening to a good big band my favorite now is the "Spitfire Band" out of Toronto CA.

I have a very large collection of Big Band, Swing, Dixieland, and old Jazz recordings and every time I visit my daughter I play some of them while my twin grand daughters are eating. I'am going to make sure they grow up knowing about this music.

I'm glad you do that. I try to expose my little girl to all sorts of music too. I'm certainly glad my parents exposed me to lots of music. They would take me to see many of the big bands that were still touring in the 70's. Count Baise, Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, Louie Belson, and several great Latin acts like Celia Cruz and Tito Puente. Plus we see all sorts music theater and symphonic concerts as well.
