Hi folks. I recenetly had the opportunity to purchase this sounds systemm at a ridiculously low price and as i know some of the members here have purchased one and were happy with it i too purchased one.

The system has lots of bass and bags of volume certainly more than i need for my purposes however i am having some challenges getting more mid and top range from the sound. I have the Korg PA1X and it does not have an internal equalizer.

For those that have some experience of using the logitec, is there anything i can do to get better mid range and treble sound from the system. If not does anyone know of a small portable equalizer that could work in conjunction with the logitec and PA1X. any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I use the Z2300 as well with my keyboards / PC / TV

you can run it through a small mixer which will have EQ settings.
I use a behringer XENYX 1002 with my Korg PA 500 and Motif XF.

you can get much better results this way...

Or you can get the previous model UB802 which is what I use.

I have the 2300 and what I did is replace the two satellite speakers with larger more dynamic range speakers. The system is powerful enough to handle the larger speakers and make a world of difference.

I've had good success with the small Behringers. If they break you can throw them away. It's cheaper to buy a new one than get one repaired. Only trouble I ever had with one was the connection where the power supply plugs in, and that was my fault for banging it accidentally.
