The weather here in New Brunswick, basically round the corner from Ian, has been brutal in recent days. Many seafront houses have been wrecked or damaged by this nor'easter. Haven't seen a post by Ian lately, so jus' wondering how you're doing out there 'on the edge' of the Cape. Hope all is well.

I'm doing okay...I live on a higher area of town...sort of on a hill.

The weather has been brutal for sure...I can see the Atlantic from my place, and it is broiling with white caps...lots of damage due to water and washed out bridges, but houses and buildings here in Glace Bay are built to take Atlantic storms, although a few basements are flooded for sure.

Thanks for asking...I'm high and dry, and gettin' ready for Santa, who'll probably come in a seaplane this year...Ha Ha.

Ian

Good on ya. I'm in Shediac at the moment, and we're on higher ground, too, about 40' above the water line. But it's disastrous and scary for some.

I truly FEEL for you guys. It was 81 here yesterday. A cold front came through last night though, it it plunged into the 50's.
We're thinking about driving north this weekend to try to find some snow to play in.
Seriously, I'm glad you are o.k.
Santa's sleigh has runners so the snow and ice shouldn't be a deterrent.
Merry Christmas!
