My Zoom Q3 creates Movie files with a .mov extension.

The Zoom Q3 has no video light, and I have some videos that are too dark to post on youtube. I need software that can increase the brightness and resave.

Apple Quicktime Pro cannot do this. Microsoft Moviemaker cannot open .mov files.

Thanks in advance,

Corel Video Studio X2 came in 2nd in a top 10 review: http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/videostudio-review.html and it only costs $29.99.

Does anyone else use it?

Adobe Premiere is the undisputed king in this category, but the price even for a limited feature edition might be high.

maybe this might be of help?

Adobe Premiere Elements does most of the things that Premiere does, at a fraction of the price.
You can download a trial version from the adobe website (www.adobe.com); you have to register to be able to access the download area.

I guess the question is moot.

I purchased Cyberlink Powerdirector 7 Ultra. Their version 8 was voted as the #1 editing software at http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/. But while the #8 costs $69.99, I got version 7 most complete version for $24.99 on Ebay.

All I want anyway is to be able to add brightness, easily choose start and ending spots, and to seamlessly load onto Youtube - pretty basic.
