Just a heads up that I've started a thread related to health care reform in the bar. I'm mostly wanting to hear from our friends in other countries what system they have and the pros/cons of it. Comments on our situation here in the States are certainly welcome from ANYONE.

I know I sometimes go several days without checking the bar for activity, this is just meant as a heads up.

For those of you who haven't checked out the health care discussion in the bar, I'd encourage you to stop by and weigh in. The tone has been exceedingly cordial and there are some very thoughtful and interesting comments.

With the number of long term, full time musicians around here, I'd be interested in hearing some stories on you handled health care for yourself and your families during your careers in music. Share only what you're comfortable with obviously. I think there's some interesting stories to share...
