I have an MP3 recorder installed on my Korg PA800. I suspect there is a way to recprd a song, transfer it to a computer, and burn it to CD. Would some kind soul detail those steps for me? thanks Bill

basicly you record your song into the PA800 mp3 card>saveit> then Transfer/Copy it to your USB Thumb Drive....then plug it into your Computer & burn it to CD. Should all be in the manual...

Chattanooga,

Like Donny said...the recording of a MP3 IS in the book, but the rest is not.

I am assuming you have the MP3 FEATURE installed on your PA800?

If so, you record to the MP3 (on hard disk) then just transfer the file to the USB stick (or if your PA is connected to your PC, just copy to HD on PC from HD on PA) Then use your standard PC burner to burn the CD You will them have the MP3 on your CD.

If you want to make a true audio file CD(wave) them you use your PC to do that also.
You would need a software package such as Roxio Easy CD Creator (many others around)

If you need help on the PC side...google 'convert MP3 to Audio CD'

Or better yet, grab one of your local teenagers to help you...they can do it in there sleep! :-)

Recording is easy on the 800.
After you record the song .. save to your usb.
Transfer the mp3 file from your usb to the pc.
A fast, cheap way to burn on a pc is itunes, and it's free. Drag the mps into a playlist - hit the "burn" button and it will happen.
That mps recording feature is the easiest thing to do on the pa800. It's 2 button puses and has worked flawless everytime for me....even if I start up the recorder MID song!
