Just brought home a new Yamaha Stagepass 300 PAS. Can't wait to try it with my new Tyros3. I have played about 15 gigs now with the new T3 and the audience responce has been astonishing. Last night It took me an hour to get away from the gig - had about a dozen folks hang around and ask questions about the keyboard. Tonight for the first time ever I made more in tips than in my regular pay. I have been shocked at the response I am getting from the audience - not about my playing but about the sound of the keyboard. Ok by me, I have always said the real star of my show is my keyboard.

Anyway, any advice from other Stagepass users?

I have been playing the last 2 hours with the stagepass 300 system and I will return it in the morning. It doesn't produce any more sound than my M-Audio BX5a speakers and the sound quality is not as good. Seems like a lot of money for what they produce. With the increased size and weight I would want more from a speaker setup.

The T3 even has a stagepass setting but that didn't do much to help the overall sound either. The reverb was almost useless - in fact, the T3 can produce more reverb on its own.

Anyway, I tried.
