I won't be going, but my friend, Bob Burrus will be there with a client-Q-Lighting. He is a maker of high end tube amplifiers. If you go, tell him Hi from Russ.

Better yet, send me your ticket Al and I will go in your place seeing I live less than a 100 miles from Anaheim and you would need to fly with, in my view, an unnecessary round trip ticket price tacked on. Although gas prices are high in So. California it wouldn't cost me near as much as a round trip ticket from New York City to L.A. and back! I will spare you the expense if you get my drift.. hint hint.

Seriously, I have tried a couple times to scrounge a NAMM ticket but to no avail. A GC employee told me a while back that he couldn't even get a ticket for his girlfriend to go let alone an "outsider" like me. If anybody feels a surge of emotion welling up within him or her and would like to donate their ticket you can send the care package to me - with no questions asked by the way. I will happily and kindly except your goodwill offering and put it to good use I might add. lol

It's going to be a spectacular show that's for sure.

Best,
Mike

This will be my 38th NAMM show! This year I am going to spend most of my time at Korg and Ketron booths. I'm excited to see the new Ketron Audya and the new Korg PA500 and PA2XPRO. I don't expect to see any new arrangers from Yamaha or Roland.
I have also heard from Casio that their entire Privia line will now include 128note polyphony on every model, including the $495.00 model!
