HiSunny,
I run the S-900 through a z-5500 and it's fantabulous. With the psr2100 I would use the stereox2 setting but with this s-900 I like it best through the PLII Movie setting.
The center speaker with it's own adjustable volume allows you to bring in the mid-range just as you want it. (the center speaker is lot more mid-range frequency than the front or rear speakers).
I am very happy with the combination of the two.
Jim

Hi Jim,
Thanks for your reply and my Logitech z5500 sounds good with psr-3000 when i play on open air stage, but when i play in church or home, the higher frequency sound gives crisp clarity but the bass is boomy and muddy ,i think it's the problem with the psr3000 output.
Have you played z5500 speakers with psr3000?and how your s900 keyboard sounds on bass side of z5500?Is there any improvement in S-900 Aux output over psr3000?
please clarify.

Thanks,
SUNNY.

On your keyboard, if you go to MIXING CONSOLE and select EQ you can reduce the BASS output so that it sounds right on the Z-5500 . All frequencies are adjustable and then SAVE AS USER with a name. You have 2 USER so you can save alternative settings.

I have not had a 3000. I went from the psr 2100 (the 3000 predecessor) to the s-900.
the eq on all 3 of these boards can be adjusted accordingly to your tastes and.... the sub volume on the z-5500 can be turned down if needed. My sub volume is rarely up over 1/4 way when indoors. Could be higher outside for louder more powerful sound.

There are four equalizer templates FLAT,HOME,CONCERT,AUXOUT PA
So,which equalizer setting is good for connecting to a stereo system?

Sunny,

Using the "B" button at the upper right side of the display, continue to scroll down the list until you come to USER1, then press Edit, set the EQ's the way the sound best to you, then press STORE1.
