Hi Nick,

The Yamaha Motif 6 has a different keybed than the Yamaha Tyros2.

The Tyros2 key action has a little more resistance and travel depth and offers better control. It is the best synth action keybed ever designed by Yamaha. I love it.

The Motif 6 has a very good keybed and holds it own. You will not be disappointed.

Motifs have a very good keybed, but these cheaper MOs have a cheaper keybed. The action is not very bad but it should not be the same as in Tyros 2. (I had a chance to try both of them a few minutes and as far as I remember the Tyros 2 action was way better) It feels a little toyish and definately not as solid as Tyros, original Motif or Motif ES.
