Here's a chance to form a group buy of the luxury high-quality custom made TYROS 2 cases from Henk Oostendorp. By grouping together we can all save money and get one (or a few) at a reasonable price.

See demos at http://www.t-2.nl/templates/page.asp?m=109&p=213.

Works out to approx $295.00 each case.

Please post here if anyone is interested.

That looks like a great light weight case!!

I emailed them to find out what the actual weight with bag and wheels is along with outside dimensions.

I guess we would have to make a 10 case purchase to get them in the US

I heard about these cases from SZ member Roel Dejonge as he purchased one when he first got his T2, and told me he really likes it a lot. Unfortunately for me located in California (USA), the shipping cost became prohibitive, nearly the cost of the csae itself.

Frank, I'm seriously interested in participating in some kind of GROUP discount purchase. Please let me know what you hear.

Pro Pac[Protec} has made simular cases like this for years, at a much more realistic price.

Correct. the minimum group purchase qty is 10 to get that price. How many are ready to commit?

This looks like a very nice case. However, I think that it is borderline over priced. I understand that the figure quoted includes shipping and handling. I thing that somewhere in the USA there should be a case available that would be similar and also less expensive. The new Tyros 2 Hardshell case is also over priced at $349. I know that SKB is making the Signature Series Tyros 2 Hardshell Case which means that they probably have a model just like it without the Yammi logo for much less. Just because someone is holding the case up by one or two fingers does not mean it is all that lite. I have read that many here think the softbags by Yamaha are heavy and you can hold those with one or two fingers as well. I would like one of these cases, but not for 3 bills. Maybe you guys who are taking your board out everyday and night would feel better about spending that much money on a case. I must admit it looks really nice.

Although very expensive its a nice looking case......I didnt like the fact that there isnt much storage for things, pedals, mics, laptop, etc etc ...

The case weighs 13.23 lbs. The dimensions are 47.24" x 21.65" x 5.315".

The Kaces KKP-9KB, XKP-9KB and the 9-KB has outside dimensions of 44.5" x 17" x 6.5".

The case sold by Oostendorp, which is made in Poland looks like a great case. For my needs it would be too long to fit in our cars.

Best
