Hi Donny,
sounds great.
The backing , is it one of the midijay styles ?? if so which one? ( just in case it's also on my sd1+, haven't had a chance to go thru all the styles yet.
Certainly hope you do some more songs for us.

best wishes
Rikki

I enjoyed that a lot Donny. I just came from AJ's workshop down in DC and I'm probably going to be getting the Midjay. I don't really want to buy a new board right now, but the MJ can fill in the gaps I have with new styles and all of the other options it has. You're really sounding great man!

Salud,

Joe

....Hi Rikki, Joe.....Thanx for the listen...I used a Style called ORCHESTRA SLOW I believe its a Sd-1 style...which I tweaked a bit to my taste.....I also used "lower on" to add some string pad to the style, I wanted that orchestra feel to it... Im sure you can recreate it with your Sd-1............

Joe.....Tell us about the Workshop with AJ...Im sure he gave you a good Demo..
The MJ is a great unit once you get used to its features for sure.....When Im down your way to see gary maybe we can get together and catch your act also ok?

Ciao

I like it alot, although, I would prefer to hear the keyboard more on this song. Which I fight on my recordings, as well. I like the song, too. Nice song.

Donny:

Nice job on a great tune! Like Bill, I'd be interested in hearing the midjay/keyboard without vocals.

I rarley do instrumentals. But I can assure you the MJ will not disappoint!!
For this particular one take song I used Philharmonic Strings, Trumpet, Piano, Brush set....etc. Like I said it was the first tune.maybe when I get time I can do something with more instruments involved...and mix it up a bit with some good fast rock & roll tunes using a Hammond organ, Elec Guitar, Sax etc .
