Ok, this song I made a few years ago, using a Korg Trinity, a recorder, and some violin by my brother (he was on the video I posted last).

It's sequenced, and not done on an arranger, but it's still worth a listen hopefully. I did all parts except for the violin.

The main tune is an old Hassidic one, but the introduction is mine.

All comments welcome, good or bad.

Thanks Tony! You've always got a good word! I think it was inspired by mountains, so that explains it!

Thanks Terry. Would you describe the song as 'dark' or 'bright?

Zalmi,
to me the song is "bright"; true, it's a song of sorrow and hard work, but also of hope. There is definitely the hope of a better future, but the present is still not what we would like.

Very well played and full of emotion.
Would like to know the words, preferibly translated in english

Wow Dreamer! You've really put your finger on it. It's exactly what I was feeling at the time. Even I have never really been able to describe it in words. Thanks!

The words of the original tune are from Psalms 42:

42:2 As the deer longs for the water brooks,
so my soul longs for You, G-d.
42:3 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and behold the face of G-d?

Zalmi, maybe it's because I feel like that all the time...
