Hello,

New here, so I figure you like to know who you're talking to in possible future posts.

I'm John, 51 summers and early retired because of heart problems. I live in California with my wife and dogs and, besides a few other things, like to play some music as a hobby. So I'm no good at it, but it keeps me busy

I went for the PSR1500 instead of the 3000 because like I said, I don't do gigs and it's only to pass some time on it when I feel like making noise

By reading in this forum, I heard about George Kaye, contacted him by email, and he made me a fantastic deal, so I went over today and got my new PSR1500!

What can I say, George is a great guy with a amazing store, and I'm trying to figure out what this new toy can do

I noticed that most people have the PSR3000, so if anyone ever has a question about the 1500, I'm here trying to help you find the answer.

This seems like a great group of people, so I hope you have a little corner free to fit me in

John

John,
I thank you for the kind words and I enjoyed spending some time with you and your wife..How is she liking the bakery goods from the Russian bakery?
Every one of my synthzone customers have become my special family of friends and I do appreciate and need all your support. In return I will do my best to answer questions and be there if the need arrives.

Welcome John!!

Good to see another young "Boomer" join the gang. Most of us are at this age or actually a little older.

Congratulations on your new 1500 purchase. Hope you have hours of fun and music.

Regards,
Al

John: Welcome! It will be good to hear more about your likes (and dislikes, if any) about the PSR-1500. This is a great "board" and you will find a knowledgebase here not available from any other source. Great to have you with us. RICE

John,

Welcome to the forum. Lots of great individuals here, and most will be able to answer any questions you have about the keyboard. One of the sites you should visit is PSR Tutorial and go through the lesson plans Joe Waters has so graciously posted. You'll discover more information about your keyboard than you'll ever find in the operatiing manual.

Good Luck,

Gary

Your welcome, John! Many nice musicians (including PSR users) are 'lurking' around here which are very helpful with their advices and comments.
I don't use a PSR for myself but maybe there are some questions around it which could be answered by me (not very much I'm afraid).
