Hello

Thanks for the input on my new website.

A few people with 56 hook-up speed were having some trouble.

See if this has helped.

I cleaned up the stuff that didn't need to be there and have single songs each with a play, pause, and stop control!

Your computers default player should play these as long as it's set to mp3.

There is also a "Test Song" under my picture. Curious for comments on that idea. Dont' like it myself, but just wanted to check.

As always, if you have the chance, please sign my Guestbook.

It's 4AM and you know where I'm heading!

Best

Scott

Hi Scott.

No problem to browse your pages here.
Looks like you're going to be as good website creator
as you're musician.
The pages are nice, better now when play the music is
a optional choice.

I've listened to the music demos, and to be honest, if
I ever had a chanche to play as well as you, I would
have been out playing all the time, not building web-
sites.

Happy playing & WebSite building
GJ

Btw, it's look similiar in both Firefox 1.01
and IE6 here.
The link to the testsong seem to be faulty.

What website? Maybe you mean the one in your profile? http://www.scottlmusic.com/ ?

If that's it, there is something wacky going on with your name in the big letters. But this is Mozilla browser. Probably works in IE, which is 94% of the market. But it's totally botched in Mozilla. Cross-browser compatability is always an issue. Your last name is showing up BEHIND your menu, meaning it is pretty much illegible.

The overall design is exceptional. Very professional looking. A few tips...

1. Remove the free counter image. Counters are meaningless. Find a free counter that only you can see. They do exist. Ones where there is no requirement to post a "powered by Bravenet" or whatever.

2. Your photo on the right, try to figure out a way to blend that in better. It's just stuck there with a box-shape. It is totally acceptable, no big deal but if it somehow blended in more without that boxy shape, that would be better. Again, not worth messing with this unless you're looking for something to do.

Again, assuming the name alignment thing is not an issue in IE, overall, excellent. Very clean and un-cluttered.

Hi Scott,
It's almost 9:30 am here and perhaps you are working on your site, but I just tried to check out the revamped format and waited and waited a long time to get to your music page.
In Fact I am still waiting. I can not get to it. I can get to your "about" page etc but not the "listen" one.

You know, I never put two amd two together until now that you are Scott Langholff, of Langholff Music.
Only been back to Milwaukee about three/four years after spending aqlmost 25 years in the Eagle River/Rhinelander area up north So it had been a long time since I had heard Langhollf Music mentioned. I remember your store well. Your name is quite familiar to me. And in fact, I had spent quite a bit of time in the Watertown/Jefferson/Johnson Creek area visiting relatives who abide around there
Well anyways good luck on that site. I know you will get it up to snuff soon.

Hey Scott,

Just wanted to let you know that the Test Song link isn't working.

Here's the code from the link:

"file:/C:/My%20Documents/ScottWebCopy/Music/In%20The%20Mood.MP3"

You must be getting a lot of traffic.  Took a while for things to load here at home...XP, IE6, cable modem, etc.

Scott,

The reason the test song does not work is the link is to your computer--not to the site. Here's the link command: file:///C:/My%20Documents/ScottWebCopy/Music/In%20The%20Mood.MP3 which you can see still goes to My Documents in your computer.

As for the other songs, they are still linked directly to Apple Quick-Time 6.5.1 which caused conflicts in my computer the last time I downloaded it. Without Quick Time I cannot play them. They do not open directly in my Windows media player. I believe you are on the right track though. Now they are individual links instead of one large file. The home page loaded in just a few seconds at 32,000 baud, and it really looks sharp.
