There is a midi song I wanted to learn, So I decided to use the guide mode,Problem is, The main melody shows up in the bass clef.

I noticed this with all the free midi songs from on-line, Only on paid midi songs, The main melody shows up on the treble clef.

Can I change this on the PSR 3000. Because I want to play these songs with my right hand, not left.

I am new to the midi side of things.

I can read music, But not like a pro, I Mostly learned the treble clef, and I just noticed the bass clef notes is diffirent.

Any help be welcome, I did convert all my midi to from 1 to 0 format.

Looks to me like you need to transpose the melody track by one or two octaves (12 or 24 semitones) upwards.

I'd use Cakewalk/Sonar on the PC for this, although I'm sure the on-board sequencer is up to the job - hopefully someone who knows better can give accurate advice here!

Have fun...

Have you tried changing the Setup using button 8 in the score display?

Having no luck, I wonder if this is a bug with the keyboard or did yamaha program the keyboard to screw up non-commercial midi's files...?
