The DGX505 is over $500.00. For $429.00 you can buy the DGX305 which is the same keyboard but with 76 keys instead of 88 and no bench and stand. With a bench and stand it can be bought from my store for $479.00 and you get a 2 year warranty, headphones, CD full of software, pedal all of which Costco doesn't offer, or you can buy the DGX505 for $599.00, free bench, headphones, 2 year warranty, free software and included stand as shown in the picture at the link DNJ posted.
The other keyboard I recommend is the Casio WK3500 which sells for $399.99.

You might also want to look at the PSR-550. The DGX's that George mentioned are good, but they are limited in recording features. The 550 will give you 16 tracks, plus a style recorder that does loop recording.

The Casio WK-3500 is also a good choice. It doesn't have the recording power of the PSR-550, but where it lacks in recording it surely makes up for it in other features I used to own a PSR-550. Not a bad board. Sounds are decent, and features are pretty good. My problem was that the sounds weren't how to say "hard enough" for me, and the style I play.

Vilo,

Listen to George Kaye as he is one of the best person to give you recs. CASIO WK3500 gives you a lot of bang for the buck and the piano sounds and all the other bread and butter sounds such as brass, strings, sax, organ, guitar that are crucial for many Christian songs are well represented in that "cheap" keyboard. It maybe cheap but it is professional quality in its sounds. I owned a PSR2000 which cost 3 times but the CASIO WK3500 still pleases me. Worst case you can try to get a used PSR2000 for about $500. I bought mine $550 a year ago. Or even a used PSR1000 or PSR1500 if you do not need the vocal harmonizer. Post your needs to the board and also to the buy/sell section of this website. Many honest people here especially the well known guys are good to do business with ! Avoid the unknowns, check them out first and ask if anybody know them at this site. Best to do business with someone that is a known person in this site !

I also play christian music - at least once or twice in my church. We play mostly contemporary christian music such as "Here I come to worship". etc. And the PSR2000 and the CASIO would do well.

Thanks evreybody.

I sold my PSR2000 about 10 months ago, I was wiht out a job and needed to pay my house and my bills, it was hard but i had to do it, I have been with out a keyboard since.

And I was looking into the WK3500 and the YamahaDGX305 as George suggested.

I tried the WK3500 @ GC long time ago, I'll have some money saved in about 3 weeks or by the end of december.

Thanks again evreybody!!!

I was playing "Hallelujah, the Lord Reigns" last night on the PSR550 and felt that the voices I was using were too "nice", but could not find anything "hard" enough. Would be nice to have a growl sax. Even the organ sounds were too nice.
I get what your saying squeak.

That's exactly what I mean Starkeeper! The WK-3500's saxes are really nice. Especially the Velo Tenor and Velo Alto. Also the drawbar organs on the WK as well as the preset organs are harder than the 550's (my opinion though)

I liked the organs on the Casio, like the price and the 76 notes, like the key feel. I just didn't like the styles. THey were too busy and made more for young people, such as yourself. You are SO young, I'm surprised Nigel lets you post here.
BUT, the Casio can accept new styles. How many new styles can you load in the WK3500?
