I have been looking for an Roland EM2000. I have looked at the VA76 and wasn't impressed with the layout and found that switching the accompaniments etc on the touch screen was more of a hassle than the EM2000. However, today I was looking online and found the VA7. Can someone tell me anything about the VA7 versus the VA76 and EM2000? Does anyone know the average price new and used on the VA7's? Does anyone here own a VA7?

thanks

The VA7 is the 61 key version of the 76 key VA-76. They both have 128 note Polyphony.
I think the VA-7 is out of production though so you will have to try and get one from e-Bay, etc.

Best regards,
Mike

I own a VA-7 version 2.0. Paid $2600 new.
We are currently using it in our worship band at church and it seems to be working out well for that setting. We don't use the rhythms...just the sounds, which are excellent. It's the same as the VA-76, except it has 61 keys and an OK speaker system. The touch screen is a bit awkward to work with live. If you can wait, I'd suggest doing so to see what Roland may replace it with later this year.
