On the Pa-80, what is a "single touch setting"? does that mean that with touching that one button, it will recall all the settings that I set to that sepcific button? If so, how do i set it??? Plese help.

Also, will this feature allow me to change the tempo in one drum beat or changing to a new drum beat by pressing one button? If so this feature will help me a tonnnnn. I just wish I knew how to use it.

Thanx

Hi Grubba99:

Single touch setting (STS)does set 4 sounds for the "right hand", sounds that are suitable according with the style/pattern you selected. Let's say you select the "Ipanema" style, the 4 "functions" buttons under the screen, F1 is flute, F2 is piano, F3 is Electric Piano and F4 is Sax...( I'm doing this by memory, so is not accurate), but you get the idea behind STS.
Hope it helps.

You can save all your settings including tempos in the 4 single touch settings. You cannot have different styles though. 4 Single touch settings are stored by pushing the write button and then moving down to the sts line and changing to one of the 4 choices and then pushing enter, are you sure and enter again.

Which means you can have 4 different performances in one Style.
Each performance can have 3 layered programs and one lower program.

Next to the tap tempo button there is a button called Write/Disk in Use. Push this button, then push the the acc/bass button to select a box next to sts N: 1 and select using the wheel either 1,2 3 or 4. Then hit enter, you will see are you sure? and push enter again. Now you will store your one touch settings.

If you don't have owner's manual, I think you can download it from the internet.
