At least I hope you like it.

I just finished recording another song on my Tyros that I had been working on for a few days. The name of the tune is called Caribbean Jive. The first file is a standard .mp3 encoded with VBR (it averages out to 226 bit rate) with a size of 4,212KB. The second link is encoded in .mp3Pro format with a file size of 1,195KB. They're both the same file (song) but I wanted to offer one in .mp3Pro format for those who might be using a dial-up connection. The running time is 2:32.

I recorded it in realtime using the Caribbean Rock Style on the Tyros. When recording it to Sound Forge I used some Multipad embellishments at different spots throughout the song , mainly Brass sounds but also some additional Percussion sounds (besides those within the Style backing tracks). Plus I used the good ol' Break, Fill-In, and Fill-Up feature on the Tyros by way of a Foot Pedal[s].

Here is the song:

Caribbean Jive

Caribbean Jive MP3Pro Version

Best regards,
Mike

Real nice cut. Good mix and all. Real nice encoding too at the higher bit rate.

Very Nice. The added fill self, fill up, and breaks give it a real 'live' sound & feel. - Scott

You just added some Caribbean warmth to a chilly afternoon in England. Cheers Mike, great stuff.
