Anyone know how I can send a Program change from the Korg Triton ot the Yamaha Tyros so that the correct bank/patch number of the Tyros is selected when pressing a channel selector button on the Triton?

Set the track settting to "EXT2" in Triton. and then enter the MSB and LSB for bank and program number. Refer Tyros Manual for which numbers to use for the banks.

That did the trick, in sequencer mode. I figured how to do this in Combi mode using the Midi Track edit parameters. How about in program mode? Is this possible?

You don't have to refer to the manual:
Go to [FUNCTION][UTILITY][CONFIG2] and switch Display Voice Number to ON. Each voice will now be diplayed with MSB/LSB/PC.
