Who knows about playtime style morphing feature in arrangers? As I know -- there are no others then Roland's. Tyros have it too, but not realtime.

May be it will be in future? -- Roland's arranger'04 -- they'll simply continue? Mediastation in future versions of software? Completely new arranger brands that we are not knowing yet?

When I speak here about style morphing I mean Roland-like mixing tracks of 2 different styles realtime (i.e. drums and bass tracks from style bossa-nova, other accompaniment tracks from style dixilend -- I tryed this recently at my VA-76, it was very funny! ).

I understand that can be another concepts of "style morphing", not as simple as in Roland case (e.g. styles can be not preprogrammed midi tracks but some kind of realtime midi stream generator that can "morph" style from one to another during several measures, performing some kind of music style "calculations").

And I know about Roland's Cover function -- I not mean this feature.

Roland VA series are the "masters" at this, nothing can create a style to fit your needs better or faster..great way to do this in realtime while a song is on your mind..Others you can lose ideas while trying to morph..

I love the morphing function on my VA5. It adds alot of variety to my music styles especially when I make changes while playing live. Kudos Roland

rolandfan,
I am asking not about Roland. It is all clear with Roland's style morphing. I asking: who else can do this? Are there anybody?
