Hi all:
Does anyone know how to change instruments "on the Fly" on a given track during Song Playback, and be able to save the changes?
I tried doing it thru the Song Creator feature but when I try to bring up the Mixing Console Song screen to change the instrument, it only shows the Acomp Part screen, not alowing me to change the instrument thru the Instr. selection pannel.
Weird, since when it comes to editing styles you can scroll thru all the Mixing console screens. But not in the Song Creator.
Can anyone expand, or what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Mario

HI: Mario
I will try to explain how to do this, but I'm no good at
giving directions So I hope you can follow my MESS.

If you have your midi song on floppy install into drive,
Push Digital Recording,
Then Song Creator,
then Current Song, (wait for it to load)
then Multi Track Record,
then Next Button 3 times, (takes you to Set Up page)
then push Mixing Console button,
go to the page where you see TR1 thru TR8 at the bottom of page,
(you do this by pushing the mixing console button)
this is the first 8 tracks, (make your changes)
then go to the next page (by pushing mixing console button)
this is TR9 thru TR16 the other 8 tracks (this is also where the
accompaniment parts are recorded)
go to the Voice page of mixing console to change voices,
(you can change voices on the fly)
when your done push Exit, (takes you back to Set Up page)
there you'll see Execute push it,
then push next & there you'll see Save & Delete options.

I hope you can figure this mess out, & find it helpful.
Enjoying the 9000 PRO
Denny

Denny:
Your directions were excellent. Thanks for helping me figure this out. Somehow they do not explain it too well in the manual. Thank God for this forum and the people in it.
Best Regards,
Mario

Hi

I want to find out once you change the voice in the mixing console, how do change the effects for it. It is not high lighted and doesn't give me access in the effects depth section. Is there a way to change the effects level.

Thanks in advance.
Ali

HI: Ali
It don't look like you can change the effect level
for DSP4 thru 8, as when you go to the TR 1 thru
TR 8 page it only has DSP 3, Chorus, & Reverb.
