There has been some discussion regarding the synth/arranger relationship. I for one use my Yamaha 9000 Pro more as a synth than as an arranger in our 7 piece "Carolina Beach Music" band. Which leads me to my questions. First, I need a case for the 9K Pro that will stand being transported on the band equipment truck without adding much to the overall lenght. I can barely get it in my van now so it cannot add more that about 1.5" to what the keyboard is. Secondly, I have a 6 gig hard drive and 65 MB of ram in order to load and play samples. But I don't have any samples. I need brass sections and solos, strings, and woodwinds. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
DVJ

Yamaha now makes a hard carry case especially for the 9000 Pro but it might be a little larger than you want. The name of the case is the YC9000Pro. Also available is the Kaces KKP-11KB
, which is a well-padded soft carry case with wheels.

Hi, Thanks for the reply I'll check on the Yamaha case. I've tried the Kaces model but it is not "hard" enough I need a real road/flight case.
Thanks,
