Hello,

Is it possible to make a regular WK2 module sound like WK2 Oriental version by
loading oriental styles and sounds through the regular floppy drive ?
If not what is the main differance ?

Thanks !

Orient,
It is not possible to turn the WK2 into a WK2oriental because you can't have the oriental sounds or oriental percussion in the non oriental version. The other differences are that on the oriental version you have quarter tone tuning buttons for programming different tunnings and there are 32 arabic styles and 8 greek and turkish styles which use the oriental percussion sounds on the oriental model. If you could load oriental styles in the WK2, they would sound funny because they would play the wrong drum sounds. You can't save the oriental styles on floppy's to even load them into the non oriental version. I sell both of these arranger modules and the middle eastern customers buy the WK2oriental and the musicians who don't need middle eastern styles and sounds buy the WK2original!
