I thought that I had learned Sea of Love right in the past but maybe not. The guitar guy has this version: http://www.theguitarguy.com/seaoflov.htm
which has a half step up at the bridge. I checked another site that has the same transition. I don't have a recording but I do have a couple of midi files that don't seem to have this transition. It seems to be smoother without the step up. Also, does anyone have a midi with lyrics or kar file of this song? Can't seem to find one. Thanks.
Chuck

Sea Of Love Words & Music by George Khoury & Philip Baptiste Recorded by Phil Phillips, 1959 (#2)

[1] Do you remember [3] when we met? [4] That's the day I [2] knew you were my pet.
[1] I want to tell you, [2]just how [5] much I love [1] you.
Come with me, my love, to the sea, the sea of love;
I want to tell you, just how much I love you.

[5] Come with [4] me, [5] to the [4] sea [3] of [5]love

This is basically the way I do it. I add sevenths and passing chords as needed. Guitar guy usually adds a lot of passing chords and embellishments, which is O.K. too. I haven't tried going up a step in the bridge, but it doesn't LOOK right.

Fran, Thanks for the mail. I'll have to check it out when I get home tonight.

Don, This is the way I play it also. Not only does the guitar guy's version not LOOK right, it sounds awkward too. Like you say, the guitar guy likes to jam at lot of chords in songs too so often I just ignore some of them.
