I am sure everyone has stories to tell from over the years. But yesterday was a strange one at the O'Neil house.
My brother (56) has a girl friend he been dating for over 15 years. Now this woman (Ellen) friend has had some interesting things go on in her life.
#1. Her husband left her . The husband decided he wasn't a Charles anymore and became Colleen.. Her daughter was suspended from high school for practicing witch craft.
So,every year we dread the last minute phone call from my brother "oh listen, Ellens daughters do not have a place to go, can we bring them ?" ... Sure, bring them over ..

The daughter (24) showed up with her (56) year old boyfriend and she decided to wear Elf Ears. The elf ears looked pretty real.
But when you got close, you could tell they were attached. My son suggested we put on Lord of the Rings to make them feel comfortable. The daughter also took particular interest in stirring the pots on the stove, with 2 hands.. I've never seen gravy stirred with 2 hands.., but she was into witch craft.. so , we just let it go...

Any one have other stories to share ?

I stuck a cornish hen inside the turkey before carving , and when I went to carve it I told everyone "look we got a pregnant Turkey"

No need ... a good turkey with stuffing will suffice for me ...
