Im using a A3000 attached to a zip then to my computer and everyday the computer will freeze up. It happens in different programs so its no one function thats causing it to freeze. My terminations are setup correct, somebody told me it might be because the sampler and computer try to scan the scsi bus at the same time. i can transfer samples to and fro using wavelab and soundforge without a problem. i lose all unsaved data when the computer freezes which is very annoying. is anyone experiencing similar problems or knows a solution, cheers

It is indeed because both your computer and sampler want to be in control. What type of SCSI comes out of your sampler? Is this a 25 pin connection out of your sampler, into the zip, and then into the computer? Or do you have a 50 pin connection in there somewhere? What type of SCSI card are you using in your computer?
