Cleaning out an old chest of drawers, I came upon an UNOPENED envelope (don't know how that happened)from "technics musical info" in Chesapeake VA, USA, postmarked in Sept 2000 ...
In the envelope were 2 kn6000 software discs titled Ver. 6.0 ...
Questions ... how do I tell what version I have in the kn6000 now, and does anyone know what version 6.0 was supposed to do? Also, (I HATE to jinx myself by saying this) my kn6 is running very well - do I take the chance of 'upsetting' something by upgrading to ver 6.0, or just let it lie? ... I am also concerned about trying to update from floppy discs that are 7 1/2 years old ...
Any advice?
