Hi,
I remember one of the major reason I bought my Kn2000 back in 1994 was because of it's unique Modern E.P.1 beautiful electric piano sound. Later on I upgraded to the Kn6500 and soon realized that there's was no EPs sounds that would come close to it (my personal opinion). So I planned to have it back placing the two machines side by side and using the sound edit option.
That sound is now included permanently in my Kn7000 and used pretty often in many of my gigs and at home of course. In fact, I think it sounds even better than the original one, due to a better sound engine quality probably.
If anyone interested, I thought I could share this sound for those of you who are nostalgic.

Many thanks Mordicus,
Look forward to trying it later.
I too, am a fan of Technics E.P. sounds (among others which are still brilliant when compared to the latest keyboards).
Best wishes,
Tony

Dunno why attaching that particular zip gets messed up. So I put it in my archive and changed the link to that in your posting so it is now good.

Good to have there anyway so people browsing the archive directly can find it http://synthzone.com/midi/

A zip file should open automatically on a PC. What error message do you get when you try to open it?

the message I receive is---windows does not know what to do with this file and wants me to go to the web for help . All I get there is an app to check the registry . My desktop is an imac running parallels with installed win xp and win 7 as virtual machines . I also use a mac book pro running parallels with win xp as a virtual machine . Also i still have my original comp. , which is still operating with win-me and that one gives me the same story . Dick Bergin

While Win ME may have needed Winzip or similar to decompress a zip file XP shouldn't. Oh well I have unzipped it for you so you can download it decompressed already http://www.synthzone.com/midi/technics/kn2000/02M_EP_1.TM

Nigel , Thank you for your prompt reply and help . I was not clear enough on my problem though----no problem unziping , but reading the dot tm file is the problem . Usually I can find an app. to open most any file , but not this time . Dick Bergin
