Does anyone know how to programme the KN7K so that fading takes place alternatally from left to right of the keyboard. Is this what is known as phaseing?

Hi Derek,
You'll find the effect (Auto-Pan) in the 'Global Effects Multi' settings. It's the 13th from the top effect.
Although it works on all sounds, it gives the best effect on sustained sounds such as Strings, Brass, Organ etc. There are 7 different settings which vary the speed at which the sound Pans from left to right - Number 2 being the slowest(Slower than 1 !).
If you have any Reverb active, it tends to kill the effect a bit since this makes the sound 'linger' on one side, when it should be moving to the other side. The more Reverb you have on - the less effective is the Auto-Pan.

Thanks Bill I'll give it a whirl and see what comes forth. Derek
