We have a GN5 organ at our church. The upper keyboard has started playing out of the blue. Doesn't matter what setting it's on. We re-initialized the organ, but the problem recurred yesterday. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

Lynsue, When you say "starts Playing out of the blue" do you mean a cipher (single note) or a jumble of sounds?

Thanks for your reply, Walt. It's just playing a single note.

Is it always the same note and have you determined which note it is.
Does the pitch change with changes in registration (4 foot, 8 foot stops, etc) and do the voices change with with changes in registration such as Flute, Diapaison, ETC?

It appears to be the F above middle C on the upper keyboard. It was set on Chimes the first time, and I changed the setting to the Tab (Organ) button and it still sounded, but with the organ sound. I have not had a chance to do much playing around with it as the problem occurred during our church service both times. I practiced for approx. 45 minutes on Saturday and the problem didn't occur then. So far, ony during church service.
