I give up! I am sequencing a song using Step Record and the manual says I can add Intros, Fill-ins and Endings in the CHD track. It just wont work for me. When I press Intro 1 or 2 at the first measure, the only sound during the intro are drums. Also, the Intro starts at the same time as the song's chord progression, so I hear both the Intro (drums only) and the APC chord progression. I have no problem adding Fill-Ins throughout the song however. All I want to do is step record a song with an Intro, drum Fill-ins, and Endings.

Is there any help out there?

You also have to step record the chord at the
beginning of the measure in the chordtrack,
or else it is only the drums who play, just
as when you push the startbutton without press
any chord in left hand.

I believe I DO step record the chords. When I step record, I input each chord and length using the keys at the right side of the keyboard. Is there something else that I am not doing? I am talking about the automatic Intro that only plays the drums.

Do I need to do something with the control and rhythem tracks? The manual is really lame!!

as Gunnar correctly points out a starting chord is required at the beginning as one of the requirements to prevent just the drums playing.

Don't input on the CHD track, step input the intro on the CTL track, then everything will play correctly. Obviously you'll need enough measures to accommodate the intro before the melody starts.
