Okay- I changed the preferences to Sd sound under SD preferences. I went to "copy from disk" and loaded about 5 floppies under the "playlist". Now the problem is that the playlist is at %99 of capacity and I cannot change folders. For some reason- the 7000 wont read the SMF floppies unless it is under SD sound for Preferences. - and then I cannot save to a folder- only a playlist......
Any thoughts? How do I save SMF Floppy disks to a folder on the SD?

Hi Ben,
as the structure on the SD for SMF/midi-files is nearly the same as for normal/technics songs the SD-card has an very self-willed technics-character .
Without going in details, I would recomment, if it the program is unknow by you, the use of KN7000SDCardTool (which includes midifiles management and even a little midiplayer) or the special K7miditool our member Thomas Konig made for the KN7000. It works fine with me and I use it almost always. You can download it from http://www.thkmcs.de .
Kind regards,
Cees.
