PLEASE HELP
I have a 5000 that I love but my disk drive went south on me,and because after many futile attempts to find a dealer to repair or replace it,I sent it away to a firm to cofigure a new one. They may or may not be successful. My questions are:
1)What is the best way to get a new drive put in.
2)Without a drive, can I use my laptop to store and load sets of my performance settings using my serial port.My manual refers to a SZ-JJATI cable connected to the RS232C terminal of the computer, which I believe is the serial port.I tried to find out about ordering this, but no reply.I need this one,I guess, because the driver comes with it.

I live in rural North Florida, have no dealer or contact with Technics, and I don't know what I am doing.

I hope you can get me going in the right direction.

Thanks
Bernie9

Try Walt Tenay Keyboards, he is very knowledgeable about Technics and can give you good advice plus he deals in Technics.
Good luck. Lloyd
