My dealer got a couple of kn5000 keyboards in on trade the other day and I noticed a button I hadn't seen before - entertainer. Sits right above the Techni-chord button, where the kn6k has a solo button. Same thing, maybe?? He wasn't quite sure what it was for and I didn't have time to look it up, but I bet a few of you kn5k owners would know the answer. Would you share with those of us who have never owned a kn5k?

Hello Bud,
It is a while since I had my 5000 but if I remember rightly it takes you directly to the mic setups and if you had a digitech attached that also, probably among other things.

He he.... I bet a hundred 5000 owners now post to tell me I am wrong Well even I am wrong sometimes......just don't admit it too often

You're perfectly right Tony, when press that
button, the screen open for mic setup (mixer)
and reverb etc.

there's an extremely comprehensive external vocaliser setup menu in the 6/65 too.

Hi Alec,
Is there? I have a digitech VR setup with my 6000. Up until now I have just used the midi preset (of which there are two. ch.1 and ch.5) Have I been doing it wrong? I have to say that the VR works fine when I'm playing and singing at the same time but I cannot get it to 'harmonise' when playing a song file or a midi file....even those with a dedicated harmony track. This has probably nothing to do with the midi presets and everything to do with my technophobia

the external harmoniser setup is in the customise menu, favorites setting.

Scroll down to it and set it in a space in one of your favorite pages, and it is then permanently available. There is every tweak there you need for a digitech or prism.
