There are two things I would like to change in a sequence file I received: tempo and key. Is there an easy way to do this? Gunnar Johnny has given me one way which he said was the "complex" way. Does anyone know "eas" way? I have a kn3000.

assuming your sequence is a technics format file, the tempo is changed by using step record in the sequencer menu on the control track to find the tempo command and then just changing the value.

in the sequencer menu there is also a transpose available. this can be used for all measures and all tracks of the song to transpose an easy record type of sequence.

If the sequence has a separate drum track you will need to transpose all tracks except this drum track.

Runner50,
if you look in the description, you'll see that I
mentioned the "panel-memory" way as the easiest,
and the step edit in the sequenser as more "complex".
The step edit is the best, as Alec describes here,
because then you dont have to remember to press the
panel-memory button each time before play the song.
