Hello,

The Technics File-Format means the
Structure of the Files itself..

e.g.

Header Chunks
Data Chunks

and so on... becuase the Techics Keyboards
can save Datas from Composer, Sequencer and and and ... and this Data where load in
Technics Keyboard..but if you make a program you must read this informations into PC...
and here you must heave the FileStructure...

Laurindo,
if you're question is about what the Technics files do/mean
it's mostly something like this:

.cmp = Composer data
.seq /.sqt = Sequenser data
.sqf = Sound data
.lsw / .pmt = Panel memory data
.tm = Sound memory data
.msp = Panel sequense pads

Wich of the files who are in use depend of what KN model they are
used/saved on.
The .pmt and .sqt is not present before the KN5000,and there are
some new at the KN6000 and 6500 like .ast and .est that I don't
know much about yet.
There will be a new "Technical corner" page at my website in short
time who hopefully will explain this issues.

Regards

GJ

Hi Gunnar Jonny!
I KNOW I can find it, but maybe you should post the link to your website so others might click on it. It really is a useful site for Technics owners - so you can flaunt it a little!

Hi,
yes I could easily post the link,but it's posted before
and it's also very easy to find in my profile
It's also available from this forums linkpage
for Technics.
I'm a kind of "alergic" against "overposting"
links (and not to forget banners & popups),and
there are many websites I never revisit because of
that reason.
Hope it never will be like that on this board.

I will never think of employing those annoying methods of advertising such as popup windows. Apart from the fact that I hate them personally, I don't think they are even effective advertising because most people won't click on an ad that annoys them.

And you can usually find someones web site if they want you to find it by clicking on the "Profile" icon above their posting. Besides Gunnar Johnny's site has been listed on the Technics Page here at Synth Zone for a long time now.

Hi Gunnar & Nigel
Yes, I have found Gunnar's page through the excellent Technics Links section at SynthZone. I remember my first excitement at discovering the SynthZone links pages (years ago). And I still check back there from time to time to see if anything new has been added.
I understand your dislike of excessive links, banners, popups, etc. and tend to agree. I'm just thinking that from time to time, it's good to remind readers that they can find these great links through SynthZone. And I think we have just done that! I've heard some Forum readers only look at the one Forum they are interested in and never check out the rest of the great stuff at SZ. They wouldn't know what they are missing.
