Some keys on my kn6000 seem to have lost their padding, so when I play them I can hear a clicking sound. Any suggestions on how I might try to fix the problem myself?

I had the same problem. I had mine cleaned and new pad strips done for $120. I watched the tech take my 7000 apart. I wouldn't try it.

However , the factory still stocks the parts.

Thanks Bernie9.I'll take your good advice and have a technician replace the padding strips on the keys that need them.
