Hi friends!

Test your KN7000:

1.Turn off your KN7000.
2.Turn it on while holding C#3-D#3-C#4.
3.Now you have access to 12 diferent pages where you can test all your keyboard.
3.Test one page each time.

That´s all for now

José

These key operations during power-up are used for diagnostics, when fault finding. They are all detailed in the Service manuals for the particular keyboards and are very helpful. I recently carried out repairs on a KN1400 and using the various key combinations, saved a considerable amount of time, in pinpointing the various faulty areas.
There are probably several other Key combinations on the KN7000 which will provide information

I WAS READING YOUR ARTICLE ABOUT DIAGNOSTIC KEYS AND WONDERED IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE KN6500 AS I HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH DISTORTED PIANO SOUNDS AND I WOULD LIKE TO TRY THIS BEFORE RESORTING TO HANDING OVER TO AN ENGINEER FOR REPAIRS.

THANKS. BILLY NEILL.
