How come the Technote prices for SD Cards are: 64MB-£50, 128MB-£100, when I can buy them on the Net for: 64MB-£23, 128MB-£41?

Today in San Jose, California, USA, I bought a Panasonic sd card 128 Mgs. for $59.00 USD. That was the regular retail price. It was not on sale at this time but I needed it today. If it goes on sale within the next 30 days I will be refunded the difference.

My point is that, if Technote are to provide their members with the best service, then perhaps they should be promoting cheaper SD cards than the Panasonic ones. Or are they REALLY independent of Technics?

Mike, the answer is simple - just don't buy them from Technote

Sometime ago I bought a 32mb SD card from a company in Guernsey (Channel Islands).
Was £21 including postage and the name on it is Hagiwara sys-com (Made in Japan) looks exactly like a panasonic SD and it works fine. Prices are starting to come down fast so Technote will have to reduce their prices
or they won't be selling many

Bebop, both Best Buy and Staples have the 128 meg sd card on sale this week, but since my wife threw the paper out, I can't quote prices. Seems like it was cheaper than yours, so it may pay for your time (and lunch) to check them out.

Word of Warning - Don't by KODAK SD Cards - they won't work in the KN7000. They have a slightly different edge connector arrangement - if I remember, one pin is missing. They are intended for their cameras. There was a forum posting on this subject some time ago. Sandisk are OK.
